Julie,
I got your book and immediately started reading it. I absolutely love
it. I am enveloping every word. I can't say when I have enjoyed such
writing. I love your style. So descriptive. This is on my list for all the
people I know , for the holidays. I don't know how to express how much I
am enjoying your labor of love. Thank You so much for drawing me into your
world. You are a talented writer, that will no doubt go far. I relish in
the thought that I will be able to say "I knew her when..."
don't forget the little people who have watched you along the way. Thank
you so very much for sharing this great work with me. I am reading it
slowly because I don't want it to end. This is a book I know I will read
over and over. It only makes me want to know the real Julie Fricker more !
I can't thank you enough, except to buy it for all my friends.

So far I'm really enjoying your book. My husband and I bought it from
you in the movie theatre parking lot in Paducah, KY. You really do have a
wonderful talent in writing. I'll be letting some of the reading teachers
at school know about the trucker buddy program.

Nice going Julie, thank you for being an advocate for the trucking
industry (and for being a Trucker Buddy!)

I am very impressed with the excerpt from the book and some of your
earlier published works. You have an eloquent way with words and I will
definitely be looking forward to the release of your book. Best of luck
with your writing career and on your new path in life. I hope everything
works out for you the way you would like it to.

- My husband works
at Doane Pet Care in Muscatine, IA and bought the book from you for me. I
absolutely loved it! Your descriptions were so detailed that it was almost
like watching a movie in my mind as I was reading. I have since used the
Internet to find information and pictures of Denali. What a beautiful
place and you depicted it so well.
-
- I also thought you did a wonderful job of bringing to
light the life of a trucker and what they sacrifice to make sure we all
have what we need. You're very right in that we all take it for granted
that there's always going to be something on the store shelves for us and
we never think about how it got there. I admire people who can handle
those trucks. I can't even drive the pickup let alone think about driving
something that big. The book has brought me a renewed respect for all the
drivers out there.
-
- Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed
the book and wish you all the best. What you are doing is great. I hope
you have plans for another book sometime, I didn't see anything on your
web site though.
-
- Take care and thanks again for a great read.

- Hi Julie, I met you a couple of days ago at the truck stop and bought a
copy of your book. Well, I just finished reading it and wanted to tell you
how much I enjoyed it. You are an excellent writer! I enjoyed your book
very, very much. I enjoyed the plot with its twists and turns. I enjoyed
the insight and the thought processes and the character development. I
could identify and relate and really liked how you intertwined your story
with our experiences. I cried several times and probably cried non stop in
the last fifty or sixty pages but enjoyed myself thoroughly. I think you
have a very bright future as a writer and look forward to any other books
you might write. Thank you for sharing your trucking experience and thank
you for doing it in such a way that this book could be given to a non
driver. You did good Julie.

- Julie - The book is a triumph. It
reminded me quite a bit of "Bridges of Madison County" and a
little of "The Horse Whisperer." I saw all the action
happening, especially the two accident scenes. Ughhh! I read
it in bits, and then just sat down and read about the last half in one
evening. I'm looking forward to the sequel. Surely, Sarah
Waters will be up to something interesting. Stay in touch and keep
writing. All my best, Jayne - NE

- Julie, If I had
known how wonderful your book was, I would have read it sooner.
You're a very talented writer and descriptive to the point that I felt I
was with you most of your journey. After reading your book, I almost
feel like you're my best friend and I can hardly wait for you to publish
your next one.
Keep the ink flowing and keep in touch.

- Dear
Julie,
-
- We
met at the Mid America Truck Show in Louisville, Kentucky in March. I
bought a copy of your book and ever since I started reading it I can't put
it down. It is such a wonderful book. I am on chapter sixteen
and I love it, as a matter of fact I have been reading for about two hours
straight this morning and I just wanted you to know that I am really
enjoying your book.
-
- Sincerely,
- Joetta

I read your book and enjoyed it completely. It is one
of the best books I have ever read. It was hard to put down and I wish
you the best of luck!!!
