- Faith
- In
the pale gray hours of morning,
- as
I’m driving down the road,
- I
know that most folks sleeping
- have
no concept of early dawn.

- But
the sweetness of this hour,
- when
everything is still,
- never
fails to bring a smile
- for
I know I’m in His will.

- For
all the things I’ve said and done
- of
all the things I know,
- this
time I spend alone with the Lord
- is
the time I cherish the most.

- He
gives to me a purpose
- a
meaning for each new day
- I
know that He is with me
- it
is to Him I pray.

- “O
Lord, I know you hear this voice,
- so
small and yet so strong
- I
praise you Father for all you do
- for
the love You’ve always shown.

- It’s
serving you that gives me life
- worldly
standards can’t compare
- it’s
not about a feeling
- but
a faith that says You’re here.

- And
as I drive this morning
- please
be with those who sleep
- show
them just a glimpse of glory
- and
give to them this peace.”
