HEIRS TO THE KINGDOM

SYNOPSIS

By Julie Ann Fricker

Heirs To The Kingdom is a Christian love story between a  female truck driver, and a drummer in a Christian rock band.  This novel is about an adventurous twenty-six year old, Gabriella Parmentier. The story encompasses her life as a truck driver, describing in vivid detail, what most readers rarely get the opportunity to see first hand.

In Gabriella's spare time, she hones her skills as a rock climber of extraordinary talent. The climbing sequences of the book are written in a such a way that the reader experiences each step of the climb as she ascends the rock with grace and agility.

It is while she is climbing, that Gabriella meets Matthew Hayes, is a twenty-seven year old rock climber whom she will one day marry. From this point on, the story focuses on the progression of their life together up to and beyond the wedding.

Matthew Hayes possesses a deep love for the things of God. Being concerned about the young people, he runs a Christian coffee house in Seattle in addition to being the drummer for a hugely successful Christian rock band, >Heirs To The Kingdom=

The band, from where the novel gets it=s name, is a group of young musicians whose

commitment to placing the Lord above all else, has resulted in phenomenal success. After being offered a major record deal, the guys are thrust into the limelight and become a significant tour-de-force in the Christian music industry.

This is not a romance novel. It is instead, a realistic love story between two young people who are drawn together by those things which they have in common. This story highlights how Gabriella and Matthew circumvent the obstacles they must face in their relationship, and deal with the constant demands their careers place on their lives.

'Heirs To The Kingdom' is a heart warming, feel good story, about finding a delicate balance between embracing our place in the world and making a commitment to serving something larger than ourselves.
